“Alex Stone is a Central Georgia based musician best known as a founder and bassist of local jam band The Woofs and Grateful Dead Tribute act DireWoof. Alongside fellow Woofs guitarist Sky Slates and percussionist Shane Mantey, the three encompass the Alex Stone Trio: a sometimes electric, sometimes acoustic outfit highlighting several genres ranging from funk to bluegrass often times in an Americana format. The set is always changing and special guest collaborations are common, so audiences never know what to expect!“
