Back Where It All Began: A Macon Weekend afterparty

DIREWOOF is a collaborating celebration of the music of The Grateful Dead & Jerry Garcia featuring members of two of Macon’s hottest current Jam Bands- The Woofs & BAS. Formed as a side project in 2020 by The Woofs’ Alex Stone (Bass) & Sky Slates (Guitar) accompanied by a rotating cast of musicians, the group finally established a concrete lineup alongside Christian Gibson (Sax/Keys) and Hunter Pettis (drums) from BAS as well as an additional guitarist in Dalton Love and auxiliary drummer Shane Manety.

DIREWOOF continues to grow its catalog at every show while busting out up beat, exciting, and unexpected renditions of numbers from The Dead songbook! No two shows are the same, but cater to all Dead fans, casual and hardcore, alike!

Back Where It All Began: A Macon Weekend featuring 2 nights of Trouble No More At Capitol Theatre

On top of the two nights of Trouble No More at Capitol Theatre, Friday the 11th will have a preshow happy hour book signing by Alan Paul for his new book, "Brothers and Sisters" as well as an after show at Historic Grants Lounge with Macon Blues Legend Robert Lee Coleman.

Saturday the 12th from 3-6 there is the Big House BBQ with JB Strauss. Admission is $15 and includes BBQ and a museum tour. After Trouble No More, Historic Grants Lounge will host local band Direwoof.
