Elmwood Summerfest

Elmwood Summerfest is a street festival dedicated to celebrating all things Summer in Buffalo - beer, food, community, and of course music! The festival will showcase 15+ brands & performers on a large outdoor stage located in the middle of Elmwood Ave. Also featured will be the Buffalo Eats 1st Annual Hot Dog Eating Competition, a Live Art installation, and a Genesee Brewing beer tent featuring your favorite beers, ciders, seltzers.

Over the last few years, the Bidwell Park area of Buffalo’s Elmwood Village has seen unparalleled rebirth and renewal as an entertainment and hospitality destination. Elmwood Summerfest is a product of the new neighborhood bars, restaurants, and venues coming together to put on a neighborhood focused street festival.

For a next level festival experience, The Beer Keep, Jack Rabbit, and Breezy Burrito Bar will be opening their doors exclusively to VIP passholders. At all three locations VIP passholders can enjoy a free drink, private bathrooms, fully stocked bars, patio access, and lounging areas with air conditioning.

Festival gates will open at 12:00pm on Sunday, June 26th with music and performances continuing all day.

What time do gates open?

Gates will open at 12:00pm on Sunday June 26th

How can I purchase tickets for the festival?

What will I need upon entering the festival?

This festival is a 21+ event so please bring proper identification. Also please plan to print out your ticket confirmation at home or have it easily accessible on your smartphone

What if it rains?

The festival goes on rain or shine! We will provide consistent weather updates and prepare all our guests and artists in advance

Where should I park?

There is ample free parking throughout Bidwell Parkway and the surrounding area

Are backpacks allowed?

Small purses/bags (generally smaller than 8”x8”x6”) are allowed but will be checked by security each time you enter the festival

Ticketing issues and/or questions?

Once you purchase a festival ticket you will receive a confirmation email from our ticket partner. Your Elmwood Summerfest ticket will be attached to that email confirmation. What is your food/alcohol policy?

No outside food or beverage will be allowed inside the festival

Can I take pictures with my phone or camera?

Sure, as long as it doesn’t have a detachable lens

Will there be food?

Yes! We will have local food vendors throughout the festival

Are there ATMs on site?

Yes, ATMs will be available on the festival grounds.

To deliver a seamless experience, contactless payment will be available at all points of sale. Cash, credit and debit will be accepted at all festival points of sale and festival vendors

Can I bring an Umbrella?

Personal hand held umbrellas are allowed only to not block views

Can I bring my own seating?

Limited seating will be available. Seating will be included inside of VIP areas

If I leave during the festival will I be allowed to re-enter?

This festival allows re-entry with a valid wristband

Are pets and service animals allowed?

Service animals are welcome

Is Elmwood Summerfest ADA Accessible?

Absolutely. The entire festival grounds are ADA Accessible. The inside of The Beer Keep, Jack Rabbit, and Breezy Burrito Bar are ADA Accessible too for VIP pass holders

What's not allowed at Elmwood Summerfest?

●      NO KNIVES, WEAPONS or FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND

●      NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL

●      NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES

●      NO COOLERS or PICNIC BASKETS

●      NO FLASKS

●      NO GLASS OF ANY KIND

●      NO TENTS or LARGE UMBRELLAS

●      NO FRAMED or LARGE BACKPACKS

●      NO ILLEGAL/UNAUTHORIZED VENDING

●      NO FLYERS or MARKETING MATERIALS

●      SECURITY WILL BE CONDUCTING BAG CHECKS, PAT DOWNS, AND POCKET SEARCHES AT THEIR DISCRETION.

All sales are final. While all acts are confirmed to perform at Elmwood Summerfest, the line-up is subject to change without notice
