CANCELED Eurovision 2024 Finale Viewing Party

It’s time to celebrate the unifying power of music! Come out to 3 Dollar Bill’s Yard on Saturday, May 11 for the special viewing of the finale of the world’s biggest music competition- Eurovision Song Contest 2024. The doors will opening at 2:00 pm and the live stream starting at 3:00 pm and culminate around 7:00 pm. 

The world’s biggest music event this year will be taking place in Sweden- the country tied with Ireland for the highest number of victories! From iconic ABBA to the reigning double-crowned queen Loreen, Sweden is a global leader for music and this year’s ceremony in Malmo will for sure not disappoint. The show will be hosted by the amazing queens and Eurovision conoseurs Svetlana Stoli and  Maxxxim, with a special performance by Micah McLauren, and beats by DJ SPASIBO! 

The theme this year is "The Lights of Eurovision". In humanitarian spirit of Eurovision, a portion of proceeds would be donated to victims of war.

This event is brought to you by Tawk Productions: a Brooklyn-based company founded by activist, educator and drag artist Maxxxim (they/them/fab), with a mission to produce and create spaces that uplift the LGBTQIA+ community (and our allies) through the tools of inclusion, intersectionality, community-building, advocacy, and empowerment, while simultaneously prioritizing queer joy and celebrating diversity.

The event is supported by RUSA LGBTQ+: a New York City community-based nonprofit organization of Eurasian LGBTQ+ people, women, and other people with intersectional identities and their allies. In solidarity with other grassroots groups, RUSA builds the power of people to change unjust policies, discriminatory societal attitudes, and oppressive ideologies to create a more equitable world. RUSA LGBTQ+ provides informational support and mutual aid to asylum seekers and other immigrants in the United States and organizes events to build a stronger community of LGBTQ+ immigrants and allies and increase the acceptance and inclusion of LGBTQ+ people worldwide.
