Forstory is an Indie Pop band from Indianapolis, Indiana. On September 15th, 2018, Forstory released its debut single, “You Don’t Get Me,” laying the groundwork for the band’s blend of diverse styles and sounds into catchy hooks and thoughtful songwriting. Comprised of singer Sydney Frank, drummer/producer Michael Slonim, guitarist Cole Chavez, bassist Gordon Housman, and saxophonist Drew Montgomery, Forstory exploded onto the Indianapolis music scene with their debut at New Faces Night at Hi-Fi on April 13th, 2019. As "You Don't Get Me" garners attention on Spotify, the members of Forstory continue to release their self-produced songs to their rapidly growing base of loyal fans. They've been continuing to make waves in the Indy music scene with their impressive third-place overall finish in MOKB Presents’ “Battle of the Bands,” a 72-band competition spanning over 4 months and ending in the finals at the historic Vogue Theatre. With more releases and shows on the way, Forstory is ready for the spotlight as it continues to showcase its unique sound and energetic performances around the Midwest!
