We do ask for a small cover charge. Too often, local musicians are paid poorly (or not at all and expected to work for tips). We are leading the fight to pay for musicians a decent amount for their contribution. Respect our Musicians and Keep Music Alive!

Big Yellow Taxi is a New England based band, created to explore the music of Joni Mitchell, from her early folk roots to her jazz influenced explorations.
The band features the expressive and soaring voice of Teresa Lorenço. Teresa has performed in folk and rock bands plus burlesque and musical theater. The Big Yellow Taxi band is composed of experienced and talented musicians dedicated to creating an exciting live show.
The mission of the band is to present a show that immerses the audience in an intimate and emotional journey through many of Joni's best loved and most powerful songs: a performance beyond mere imitation, to delve into Joni’s musical intensity and genius, to leave audiences entertained, moved and elated.
Terese Lorenco - Vocals
Teresa Lorenço grew up in a musical household, and has been singing since she was able to make noise. She began listening to Joni Mitchell when she was a teen, starting with Blue. Teresa has done musical theater throughout her life and implements a sense of the emotional experience in her depictions of Joni Mitchell’s compositions. Teresa has sung actively in Western Mass for the past 10 years, and she is overjoyed to have the opportunity to pay tribute to Joni Mitchell with Big Yellow Taxi.
