Come join Las Mariquitas, a Queer and Trans-centered Salsa band for the first MARIQUITAVERSE featuring guest artists LA MANGA and ARCHANGEL at 3 Dollar Bill! Grounded in a profound love for our peoples and our salsa music, the urgent need to make Salsa a safe space for queer and trans people, and an ancestral duty to offer queer and trans futures for Salsa music, Las Mariquitas invites you para rumbear, guarachar, y GOZAR! ¡Azúcar!
This event will start with a 1 hour dance class until Las Mariquitas takes the stage. Followed by a special performance by LA MANGA. Ending with a dance party with ARCHANGEL . While you take a break from the dance floor be sure to check out some trans/queer vendors TBA, and bring clean clothes for our clothing swap!
