Mellow Swells is a band from the triangle area that soar blasts funk, rock, and intense improvisation to its listeners. Their influences range from traditional music all the way to modern funk/pop. Expect to get beef blasted by some low end bass, sweaty by some deep grooves, and slapped by soulful vocals and soaring riffs.


Whoop: (Raleigh, NC)

Formed in 2020, Whoop evolved organically from Friday night jams in Bigas’ barn studio in Raleigh. Consisting of musical moments captured, distilled, and tastefully shaped into songs, the band’s celebratory yet introspective eponymous debut emerged to rave reviews just a year later.

Since then, the prolific quartet, completed by bassist Nick Clarke and drummer William Perrone, has been performing electrifying live shows – including Carolina Indie Fest and the NC State Fair – between the writing/recording sessions that ultimately spawned Just What?

Aggressive and fun: Icarus Airline is a band that brings the intensity in a way that makes you want to be a part of it.  Their form of rock is tight and modern, but with a twist of personality that makes every show unique.  We want to get you up on your feet, and we want you jumping. 

Icarus Airline takes inspiration from standby classics like The Black Keys and Arctic Monkeys, but pulls them into the new 20's by blending in the sounds of Royal Blood, Cleopatrick, Highly Suspect, and of course their own unique musical signatures.   This duo comes from wildly different musical backgrounds, and crash in a complementary blend that you won't have an easy time pinning down, but you will come to love.
