Since the Chris Moore (reeds) & Adam Shead (drums) duo's inception in the winter of 2017 the two musicians have cultivated a highly energetic interplay based in a trans-idiomatic approach to improvisation. The duo has released two full length albums, Transdisciplinary Jig (Adiaphora) and The Flower of Paradise (Amalgam Music), and performs regularly throughout Chicago and the Midwest. For tonight's performance the Moore/Shead duo will be joined by Chicago's own Edward Wilkerson and Tatsu Aoki.
