Mozaic Flow is the brainchild of Jermaine Bryson aka Husky Bruiser. His decision to bring together an amazing group of musicians from all walks of life to fulfill his vision of a musical fusion, blending hip-hop, be-bop, blues, go-go, rock and roll, pop, jazz and other music al idioms proved to be a wise decision. He, along with his brother Travien Brysonaka Pockets, are founding members of the group, and work together to create the group’s brand. The group’s genesis unleashed a musical style that would transcend all demographics uniting a worldwide audience. Their collaborative pieces implode the notion that music should be neatly boxed and labeled. Instead, it is creatively explored, improvised, and composed without barriers. The band’s style and the electric atmosphere that they create while performing reinforces the belief that music should simply flow.
The world has been patiently waiting for Mozaic Flow. The band has been on the fast track since its inception three years ago, and has been delivering fans unforgettable performances ever since. Hailing from Philadelphia, this group has opened for Macy Gray, The Roots, Wu Tang, and Big Daddy Kane. In 2014 Mozaic Flow signed with Aristocrat Music/Starbrite Records& Ingrooves Fontana/GMG Universal Music Group. Their debut single, featuring Dice Raw, and Tuba Gooding Jr. from the Legendary Roots, will be released in the spring of 2015.
From nostalgic tributes, to the ultimate in jam sessions, this band takes you on a musical journey that undoubtedly ends with requests for encore performances. One blog site describes the band and their performance at the Brooklyn Bowl in 2013 as “a brass driven party group that had the audience bouncing up and down with a crazy blend of musical genres.” That description, though accurate, is an understatement. Mozaic Flow is on the verge of reinterpreting music as we know it and obliterating the stigmas that come with genre specific branding. Their only rule is that they have no rules. Stay tuned…
