PhillyBloco is the Ultimate Brazilian Dance Party.  For the past 10 years this 20-piececollective has been rocking Philadelphia with their signature blend Samba, Funk, Reggae and New Orleans 2nd-line, all set to the Earth-shaking beats of Brazilian Carnaval. 

The group features a 12-piece Brazilian drum corps surrounded by singers, dancers, horns and more. PhillyBloco brings their boundless energy and raucous mashup of styles to every performance, creating a dance-party experience like no other.

PhillyBloco has performed at numerous venues throughout the tri-state area, most notably World Cafe Live, The Troc, The Ardmore Music Hall, The Kimmel Center, SOBs in New York, and the Fillmore.  The group remains ever-committed to their core mission of spreading the joy and energy of Brazilian percussion/song/dance to as many people as possible.
