A statement on Coronavirus from Pitchfork Music Festival Chicago

Pitchfork takes the health and safety of all our attendees and colleagues very seriously, and we have been closely monitoring the developments of COVID-19.

With the festival four months away, we are still planning on throwing a great festival for you all July 17-19, 2020 in Chicago. We will continue to monitor as the industry, city, and health officials update large-event procedures, and we will implement and communicate those procedures to ticket-holders.

In the event that the festival is canceled before its commencement, all tickets will be refunded in full.

Please be safe, and take care of each other.

Thank you.
Pitchfork Music Festival

The internationally recognized Pitchfork Music Festival returns for its 15th year presenting 40+ bands and will take place July 17-19, 2020 in Chicago’s Union Park. The Pitchfork Music Festival highlights the best in new and emerging music. Since 2006, this independently run festival has consistently proven to be one of the most welcoming, comfortable, reasonably priced, and rewarding weekends of music around.

Hosting over 50,000 attendees each year, Pitchfork Music Festival offers a wide array of activities beyond the music. With 50 individual vendors, as well as specialty fairs, the festival works to support local businesses while promoting the Chicago arts and food communities as a whole. We maintain a commitment to keeping ticket prices low, providing new and useful amenities, and working with the city’s best local vendors each year. Tickets to Pitchfork are available now!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Pitchfork is an all ages event. Children 10 and under can attend for free with an adult. You must obtain a 21+ wristband from an ID checker in order to consume alcohol at the event.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The festival does not provide any parking for festival attendees. There are no sanctioned parking lots for public use in the Union Park area associated with the festival. We recommend using the CTA, Bus, rideshare, or biking.

What's the refund policy?

There are no refunds for tickets.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You can scan your ticket with your phone. Just make sure to have it pulled up and your brightness turned all the way up when you arrive at the gate.
