Rubber is a Philly-born, LA-based Pop R&B project fronted by singer-lyricist, Andrew Loper, with multi-instrumentalist, John Della Franco leading production. Rubber creates an emotional soundscape combining their R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Hyper Pop and Soul influences like Frank Ocean, Thundercat, SZA, Yebba, and Charli XCX while staying true to that hot-pink, dynamic feeling of pop music, anthemic and universal.

About Béya
Website | Facebook | Instagram | Spotify
Like a “Bleeding Heart,” some of the most astounding flowers can bloom in the shade. Béya embodies that beautifully, having grown her roots in the small coastal town of Brigantine, New Jersey. As a child, she picked up a variety of instruments, such as the piano and cello, but it was in middle school that she gravitated toward the trumpet and truly fell in love with music. The arrival of the “Bummy Barbie” moniker and accompanying Bummy EP you hear today is an encapsulation of Bèya’s unwavering devotion and commitment to the optimization of her art. Inspired by the beauty, intelligence and uncut manner of the women popularly portrayed in films of the ‘60s, those influences certainly shine through in the music. Harmonies and melodies drawn from pop, funk and disco accompany angelic vocals filled with raw, honest, and vulnerable commentary to create “alternative soul”, the sound of Béya.
