The Humidors are in their element and absolutely rage on stage. Bursts and washes of B3, punchy horns, chugging percussion, thumping bass, and burning guitar leads all interweave in an infectious polyrhythmic stew.
This band of troubadours has developed a sound that pulls from a melting pot of old-school and modern influences, yet is always rooted in a big sound, high energy ensemble approach to funk that builds it's grooves with psych-Rock-Soul layers and super rhythms one on top of the next ... Pure Magic Music!
Justin Abee (percussion)
Ben Corrie (keyboards/organ)
Andre Cruz (lead vocals)
Mike Mulqueen (guitar/vocals)
Eric Podolsky (bass/vocals)
Adam Willis (drums).
“Everything The Humidors play is given a heavy contemporary spin that splinters dance floors and leaves audiences in a sweaty daze. The band is a well-oiled unit with a polyrhythmic approach that balances short, sharp solos with an overwhelming collective approach.” - J. Poet, SF Weekly
Hailing from the Bay Area, The Humidors have been churning out their own unique brand of party music for half a decade. Combining elements of hard-hitting funk, greasy soul, vintage R&B, soul jazz and more you can be sure that this eight-piece unit is committed to the groove in all its shapes and forms.
With the recent addition of Andre Cruz's soulful and heartfelt lead vocals, The Humidors are taking their music to the next level and ready to spread the Gospel of Funk to dance floors everywhere. Having shared the stage with acts such as Dumpstaphunk, ,The Nth Power, The New Mastersounds, The Meters' Experience, Shuggie Otis, and the late, great Bernie Worrell, The Humidors are in their element on stage. Bursts and washes of B3, punchy horns, chugging percussion, thumping bass, and burning guitar leads all interweave in an infectious polyrhythmic stew.

MARSHALL LAW BAND
|Marshall Law Band Bio When your eyes have been closed for hours and you finally turn on the light, for a moment everything is a kaleidoscopic of explosive colors. Then, just as suddenly, you have new clarity. This is what happens the first time you hear the music of Seattle’s Marshall Law Band, a group that blends the power of hip-hop and the playfulness of funk. The six-piece group, which formed in the Emerald City in 2016, provides electricity to all your senses, igniting your body and soul. Their intention is to inspire and they do so through both classical instrumentation and a near-reckless abandon on stage. Fronted by emcee and lyricist Marshall Hugh, the Marshall Law Band recently released their debut EP, Nostos, A Hero's Journey which is a concept record with the Joseph Campbell’s hero’s journey archetype at its core. Informed and inspired by works of classic literature - tomes like The Odyssey and The Hero with a Thousand Faces - the EP hits hard like a warrior in battle and grins big like one in victory. To drive home the hero's journey theme, the MLB wrote and performed their own Hip Opera which debuted at the end of 2018. A theatrical concert that employed some of their favorite Seattle musicians, the impact of the Hip Opera was felt across the city. Local NBC News affiliate KING 5 brought Marshall Hugh on to talk about the Hip Opera and the band’s debut EP. Since the success of the Hip Opera, Marshall Hugh has been developing a hero’s journey workshop, designed to help local teenagers goal set, overcome obstacles, and become a hero in their own lives, families, and communities. Versatile musicians Josh Richins, Zack Olson, Evan Robertson, Matt McAlman, Marty Thordarson, and Marshall Hugh are looking forward to a a debut album and a West Coast tour in 2019.|
Founded in upstate New York and currently located in the Front Range, Banshee Tree has quickly developed a reputation as one of Colorado’s most multifaceted young bands. Combining the sounds of acoustic instruments with a diverse blend of dance and improvisational styles from swing to funk to electronic, the band's songwritier Thomas LaFond's intrepid compositions as a platform for hot swing and deep grooves. Fans of Golgol Bordello, Caravan Palace, and Django Reinhardt will appreciate this driving, earthy acoustic dance music. There newest release, “In the Company of Crows”, is currently available through Bandcamp, Itunes, and Spotify.
