About The Boss Martians

Facebook | Spotify | Instagram | YouTube

The Boss Martians' style of '60s-influenced guitar pop was debuted in 1995 upon the release of their first self-titled full-length on Dionysus Records. Accompanied by an influence of Paul Revere & the Raiders, the Beach Boys, the Trashmen and the Astronauts, the Seattle natives also had the chance to scatter several singles throughout the years on various different labels before their second album, 13 Evil Tales, came out in 1996. But it wasn't until 1998 that the Boss Martians had the chance to branch outside of America with a tour of Europe that summer. After 2000's Move, they signed with MuSick Recordings, releasing 2002's Making the Rounds and 2004's The Set-Up. "I Am Your Radio," from the latter album, won the listener-driven "Coolest Song of the Year" contest on Little Steven's Underground Garage radio program.

About The Tremolo Beer Gut

Those wild & woolly Scandinavians did it again! The mighty “TBG” (that’s what their loyal fans call the band, buster) returns with ‘You Can’t Handle.. The Tremolo Beer Gut’ - an instantly classic collection of instro-mental Surf, Twang, and Rock & Roll Bang that’s crammed full of luscious, reverb-drenched hooks, furious fuzz and surfin’ snare that’s more than enough to please even the most discerning of Dick Dale, Davie Allan, and Duane Eddy fans! Also noteworthy here is that ‘You Can’t Handle..’ marks the debut collaboration between legendary Surf & Garage Rock label MuSick Recordings (LA, CA), No-Count Records (Seattle, WA - recently founded by The Boss Martians’ own Foster Brothers), and ultra-hip Crunchy Frog (Copenhagen, DK) - which also happens to be TBG HQ (and notably the label that debuted bands like The Raveonettes and PowerSolo)! But enough from us record label hype-types flappin’ our gums here, we’d like to turn it over to Rolling Stone’s David Fricke to get down to the nitty-gritty on what this new TBG record is really about.
