The Flower Fields 2020
The Flower Fields - Extended week until May 16th at The Flower Fields
There are no tickets currently available.
We, like many of you, look forward to these 10-short weeks every year. We are so sad that this has taken place and that we are not able to welcome all who wish to visit the fields this season. Many of you have come for over 20+ years and have shared so many moments with us. Many of you have brought generations of family to see and experience the blooms. Please, do us a favor and plan for brighter days. Although we cannot promise anything, we truly hope to open our doors this season. Stay tuned to our website and social media as we will continually update.
This isn’t goodbye; this is a hope to see you again very soon! Take care of yourselves, your family – and most importantly – STAY POSITIVE. There will be better days ahead, we promise. We will see you on the other side with brilliant, bold acres of ranunculus flowers.
For over sixty years, Mother Nature has transformed the rolling hills of North San Diego County into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world. The nearly fifty acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up the Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch in Carlsbad, California, are in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks each year - from early March through early May- literally bringing the famous fields back to life. This annual burst of color, which has become part of the area’s local heritage, also is one of nature’s official ways of announcing the arrival of spring here in Southern California.
