DJ Željko:
Not only was Kafana Balkan the first ongoing Balkan dance party in San Francisco, it's also the Bay Area's biggest Balkan music party masterminded by DJ Željko Petković. Željko hails from the Balkans, Serbia by way of Frankfurt and now resides in San Francisco. We here in San Francisco have the great benefit of enjoying his discriminating taste and seemingly endless collection of Balkan music.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:
Željko lovingly promotes Balkan music and culture by producing Kafana Balkan roughly 3 times a year. KB event has won "The Best of" both Bay Guardian and SF Weekly weekly newspapers. Since February 2015, he's joined by Marco Peris Coppola, Co Producer, who is helping Kafana Balkan grow.
