Each year on Memorial Day weekend, thousands of music fans from around the world gather in the birthplace of Techno to celebrate the heritage of Detroit and its musical influence over countless generations. Movement, a true institution in the world of dance music festivals, remains unwavering in its dedication to both the music and the culture that surrounds it. Our commitment is to celebrate diversity, authenticity, and innovation through our carefully curated lineups. We honor the creators, trailblazers, and emerging leaders of electronic music, making Movement a timeless platform for artistic evolution. The festival takes place in Hart Plaza - Detroit's legendary riverfront destination.

Kids 12 and under are free and do not need a ticket. They are allowed in the general festival grounds until dusk with a parent or guardian. We strongly encourage hearing protection.
